HOOKUPS

We have mentioned being at the Katy Texas Camping World several times, while waiting for a circuit board to arrive for the fridge. Close into Katy as well as Houston, it has been pretty handy as we sight see about the area. In past posts to the blog, we have given glimpses, but not a good look. We will try to give a better look so you will know what to expect should you come to Katy Texas Camping World for service. Here is a quick video overview:

100_1501Our little 17’er nestled in among larger RV’s.

100_1497 Electrical and water hookups are along this rail. 100_1499Propane fill station located at the end of the hookups line.100_1498 A closer look at the propane fill station.100_1500  A look at the dump station, just past the end of the hookups line.

A great facility. It is clean, orderly and well maintained. Immediately in front of the campsites there is a nice grass walk area for pets. To top it off there is a watchman on the property  and the gates are locked after hours, so it is quite secure. .

Larry,
I must have misread the post that said they called you.
I thought they had said that your part was in and come back and they would install it.

I made the same mistake as Bill. Wondering why it is taking so long!
Should have been fixed in a few hours once the right part was in. You still having problems with getting the part ?? Are ya gonna go visit Pete?

It turns out that there is another circuit board that controlls the 12 volt part of the fridge, it is out also. waiting on it now.

Boy, those Norcold fridges are a pain waiting for parts aren't they? Sorry you have had so much trouble! Norcold told us they were shipping same day... 2 days later still not shipped!

Now you are going to make me go out and double check my fridge for 12v.

I don't remember ever seeing any 12v wiring.

Hey Bill, when your fridge is three way, 110, propane & 12 volt, it has a small circuit board that has a relay on it. This nearby lightning strike has absolutely given us fits ! It is beginning to look like our King Dome may have to be replaced. They worked on it yesterday.
