MANSFIELD

PORT MANSFIELD TEXAS
Bumbling along the Gulf Coast back roads that skirt the laguna Madre, on our way South to Port Isbel and South Padre Island.
We pulled into town right at dark and found this great overnight spot right by the harbor. The streets were full of deer. I don't mean a few, or a hundred even, but several hundred deer ! We had to drive carefully because the deer were slow to move out of the way of automobiles !

Took a camera out with me when I let the dogs out first thing in the morning.

The day was going to be sunny and clear. The sunrise was spectacular.

We were parking on a level concrete pad that had it's own pier running out into the harbor.

Then it was back inside for some of Betty's Big, Bad, Brown, Breakfast Burritos By the Bay !
