A quick video look at Elk City Lake State Park's new Shower and Laundry room. It is one of the nicest we have seen in quite some time ! After ten hours at Amazon, it is a treat to take a long hot shower in this new, clean, well lit and heated facillity. Kudos to the State Kansas for having the needs of workampers in mind for this project ! Sombody had their "thinking cap on" while this one was in the planning stages, for sure.

He longed for those misty mountains, while overseas, but the ancient lifestyle was the thing that he missed the most. There was just something about roaming those remote mountains with a gun and a dog that he constantly dreamed of. His descriptions of the Ouachita mountains and hunting to provide for his family constitute the MOUNTAINBORN CHRONICLES. Currently serving as Chief of Police, Larry Harmon lives with his wife Betty and retired drug dog Dillon at the foot of Cross Mountain, near Vandervoort, Arkansas.The MOUNTAINBORN CHRONICLES is dedicated to the memory of CLARA GANDY ANDERSEN.His Grandmother taught him to dream beyond the Mountains that surrounded him.

How's the commute to Amazon working from Elk City Park? Has Amazon been good about putting you both on the same shifts so you can ride share? Does it looks like there's space left there?
